It is an amazing week for new books. For DC we got Brightest Day which promises great things in the future, we got Flash 01 which makes me feel better about Wally no longer wearing the suit ( I was rather dubious), a new Action comics came out as well as Adventure which have both been really solid recently, and Green Arrow continues his rampage.
After some rescheduling, Luke will be hosting the first ever Comic Book Club at the store on Thursday April 22nd! This will be similar to a conventional book club, but instead the focus will be on our favorite type of literature of all time: comic books! This will be good for fans to have a group to convene and discuss with, a chance for readers to pick up something they normally wouldn’t and a chance to show non comic readers that comic books aren’t lame!
What would you the populace like to see on the Site/Forums? Let us know by responding to this post. We want to make the site something important enough for you to check at least weekly if not daily. Just give us a heads up.

Yeah yeah say what you will about Campbell i know his art gets alot of guff but i think hes great. Anyway DangerGirl is a spy/action-adventure story with sexual enuendos , exsplosions, and Indiana Jones style treasure hunting. Mix in a Ninja fued (highly resembeling that of GI-joe)a mad scientist oh and Hammer Empire (“The Fourth Reich”)thats right Nazis trying to take over the world and all that , makes up for a very fun read so pick it up. well if you want to that is

That’s right our first trip out to see the sights and be nerdy in public. You should be there. We will be at Redlight, Redlight tonight (04/03/2010). You should all come out and participate in this so that we will feel obligated to do it again. See you there.

If you liked Kick-Ass even in the slightest then you will kill to own Nemesis. It takes the good guy gone bad idea to a whole new height, similar to how Irredeemable did, but this time it is Batman who gets the evil makeover. Yeah, evil Batman. Think about that, that is the scariest thing in comics. The book is Millar at his best with McNiven’s art, a la Wolverine: Old Man Logan and Civil War, you couldn’t ask for a better duo.
So we are working on getting a webcam in here to make videos of things we feel are too important to keep to ourselves. It’ll be like H.R. Puf’nstuf without the acid. Sorry, we just can’t afford the acid.
